With the support of the American Chemistry Council and World Vision Honduras, WEFTA’s La Iguala Project in Honduras is in the final phase to bring clean, reliable drinking water to the communities of Llano Largo, Quioco and Guadalupe. This project will deliver water to 302 families (1,800+ people) from a mountain stream in the rainforest over 10 miles away. Construction of the water distribution system is expected to be complete by June 2020.

Upon completion, this will be the first time Llano Largo residents have ever had running water.
