WEFTA was honored to participate in a special, invitation-only working session led by Concordia on July 23rd, 2020. Concordia convened leaders from the private, public, academic, and civil society sectors working across Latin America as part of its ‘Partnership Accelerator’.
Our Mexico Country Coordinator, Ramón Lucero, participated in the event as a speaker. Ramón highlighted our work and the positive impact WEFTA is having in Chiapas, Mexico for communities and HCFs (Health Care Facilities) without WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) services. The session highlighted innovation and impact in Latin America with action-ready interventions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in the region.
WEFTA is proud to announce that our new Mission and Vision align with the SDG-6 . Our field work will increase access to WASH resources for communities, schools and health care facilities.
