We are committed to the long-term success of the projects we’re involved with, and it doesn’t stop when construction is complete.

A key role of WEFTA entails guiding communities in how to manage their water and sanitation systems to ensure they remain viable for the foreseeable future.

The WEFTA team is working on the ground in Panama this week for post-construction follow-up visits, and meetings with community leaders to review the systems in place to ensure long-term sustainability.

Today, WEFTA volunteers Tim, Leo and Tomas, visited the communities of Guyabo, El Limón, and Pedregoza and met with the water committees.

We are happy to report that the water committees are intact, and all three systems are working well!
