WEFTA volunteers, Jacob and Hanna, were on-the-ground in Panama working with the community of Bajo Algodón in April 2022 to help complete the water storage tank and transmission line connection for the water system project. After the work in the field by the volunteers, the community was tasked with continuing to work on digging trenches and installing pipes for the community distribution network.
To date, the community has successfully completed most of the distribution network. WEFTA Circuit Rider, Nicolás, will visit the community of Bajo Algodón in the coming weeks to help with the final touches on the distribution network.
