In May 2022, WEFTA Circuit Rider, Nicolás assisted the community of Quebrada Mina with much-needed improvements to their water distribution line.
The spring source and water supply tank are still in great condition from their original construction in 2009, but the transmission line bridges over a small stream have failed, leaving the water lines vulnerable to damage during rainstorms, when the streams are in flood stage. Nicolás in coordination with the community water committee successfully built new structural bridges for the water lines to keep them out of harm’s way.
