WEFTA is delighted to congratulate Chief Dom Nwachukwu, founder and CEO of Groundwater Development & Engineering, Ltd., on receiving the Presidential Distinguished Service Award from the Nigerian Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH) during their 36th Annual International Conference held in Ibadan on October 5, 2025.
This prestigious national recognition honors Chief Nwachukwu’s outstanding professional contributions and over four decades of dedicated service advancing groundwater development and hydrogeology throughout Nigeria. His leadership and technical expertise have guided countless water supply projects across the Niger Delta, southeast, and other regions of the country, improving access to safe water for communities and institutions alike.
Since 2021, Chief Nwachukwu has been a valued partner of WEFTA, collaborating on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) improvement projects for healthcare facilities in Nigeria and Cameroon. His commitment to sustainable water solutions and mentorship within the field exemplifies the shared values at the core of WEFTA’s mission.
